Raingutter Regatta

We're bringing back an old, fun tradition, racing our homemade boats!!  This is NOT an official cub scout regatta race, so you don't have to worry about specifications.  The rules will be very simple.

• No mechanical propellers to help speed your boat, you must only use your breath to move the boat.
• Make sure you have a sail for your boat, how else will you be able to get it to go?!
• You cannot touch your boat to help it move down the raingutter.  You can only set it in there, then BLOW!!!

You can construct or decorate your boat any way you like, make sure you seal it and balance it so it does not turn sideways or sink.  Test it out in your bathtub at home.  If you do not have your boat kit and would like to participate, please contact Michelle to get your boat kit ASAP.  Check out our Calendar for race date information.
